Art journal page

Hello everyone,
Today i am sharing a couple of projects over at "Mudra blog" using the new release stamp"Grunge effects".I made two contrast projects with the same stamp set just to show the versatility of the stamps.
My first project is a art journal page inspired by Lindy stamps gang color challenge for september.I sometimes go wild with my imagination, hehe and what a better way to showcase them than a art journal page??I totally went grungy in terms of colors n shapes on this one,for more details about how i did visit Mudra blog.

I made this tag with same stamp set, showing the lighter side of the stamp.I used my favourite yellow/green color combo at the moment.

Adore-Layout for 2crafty chipboard design team

Hello friends,
today i have a happy news to share,i am joining the "2crafty chipboard" design team from this month.Yay,..i couldnt be more happier,a year ago i joined my first ever design team with Colourarte and within a year i got to work with many leading brands both in Nationally and Internationally.I feel so blessed and happy and thankful for these opportunities to work with some of the amazing brands and people(and i have few more exciting news to share in the coming weeks, hint hint..lol).
2crafty chipboard is a Australian company which makes beautiful and intricate chipboard designs,i was so thrilled when i received my DT pack filled with gorgeous chippies. So here is my first layout for my debut post.I made a soft and shabby page to go with the sweet little girl picture.I have used lots of fussy cut elements and layers from the oh so beautiful Kaisercraft -paper pack "Mademoiselle".Hop on over to "2Crafty blog" for more details and to see my other layout i shared.

I coated the chipboard with a layer of heavy white gesso and painted it with two shades of pink distress paints. On top of that I applied a layer of clear crackle medium.

MFT card design superstar contest-2016

Hello everyone,
Happy monday!!Finally i made up my mind to enter "MFT card design super star-2016".Card making was my first love when it comes to paper crafts, but it took a back seat when i got hooked with mixed media.Recently i fell in love with card making n stamping all over again,so when i saw this contest i thought to give it a try.Another main reason is got some gorgeous stamps from MFT  on saturday ,and i got super inspired to make something immediately.
I usually prefer more of cute stamps from MFT (for which they are known for),but this flashy florals got my attention immediately when it was released as kit,but i was able to get it only now. This was my first floral stamp from MFT n i absolutely love it(i can sense more coming soon, hehe).
I have used Altenew inks to stamp my flowers and used the coordinating dies to cut the flowers n leaves.I used Die-namics stitched basic edges to cut the card panel,It has four designs in total but i am sure you can make 40 designs from it by changing the angle, one of my most favorite die ever.I used a bold striped paper for the background, there is something about stripes n floral combo, isn't it?
Adding sentiment to this card was quiet challenging,i don't want to disturb the white space as it balances the bright colors n flower cluster in the middle.Adding it on the center covers the beauty of the flowers, after much deliberation finally i settled down with sentiment from "Adorable elephant" stamp set, the size was apt n i am happy it went along with the flow of the arrangement without disturbing it.
Hope you liked my card, wish me luck :)))
