Winter theme ATC cards for Colourarte

Hello people,
i am excited to share today's post.Yes!!i made my first set of ATC cards and  i really loved making it.For long time i have been in dilemma whether i will be able to work on such a small size(it measures only 2.5 by 3.5 inches).Though i love doing detailed work, this is too tiny. But it was super fun and awesome experience. and yeah a lot of work than i expected:)

So here is my glittery and wintery ATC  cards,i made three of them.If you follow me you would have noticed i am not a great fan of adding glitters,i add subtle touch that too if it is very much needed,i feel too much of glitter gives an artificial look. But for these cards i added lots of silver glitter embossing, after all christams is all about shiny and glittery things right?and i feel it really went well with the background( i hate to add anything that doesn't go 100% with my project)

This is my DT project for Colourarte and i have a simple tutorial for making the background over at Colourarte blog,do check it out HERE.I have used 7dots studio yuletide collection papers, stickers and wood embellishments for this project.

Shabby chic card

Hello everyone,
I am back with another post. This is again for 12 days of christmas challenge over at Prima. This is for Day10-flowers,and who wouldn't love prima flowers?they are absolutely gorgeous and would make any project look more beautiful.

I made this card using one of my most favorite and treasured collection-Fairy rhymes, unfortunately i had only one paper pad and was hoarding it for more than a year. Finally i used two sheets of paper with a heavy heart, lol.Decorated the card using some die cuts ,wooden embellishments with prima flowers. So that is it from me now, probably will take few takes break,my craft room is a mess and  and a major tidying up is needed.Hope you like the card,do let me know your feed back.

Mini canvas with oil pastels

Hello everyone,
today i am sharing a mini canvas i did with Prima oil pastels, this is my first try with them and i love it.Water soluble oil pastels-its so creamy, blends well and gives opaque finish while used directly like oil pastels at the same time gives water color effect when mixed with water, actually quiet interesting n different to work with. For the center image i used prima paintables and colored it with oil pastels. Background is made with crackle paste and oil pastels.Hope you liked it,will be back soon with another project.

Made  this for  12 Days of Christmas challenge at Prima  Day 7- oil pastels and Day 12- crackle paste

Double page Art journal spread

Hello everyone,
today i am sharing a double page journal spread.Yes,i am completely hooked with art journal pages currently. I am using Finnabair art journal and must say as usual the quality is amazing. Initially i was doubtful whether to work on the pages directly or work on some other card stock and stick it to the journal as the pages were quiet thin. But decided to try directly first and to my surprise the paper holds lots and lots of paint & water really well and doesn't roll. I created lots of layers using paints.stamping and finnabair art ingredients .

Here is some close-ups:

Prima/Finnnabair supplies used:
White gesso
Heavy jesso
Art ingredients-Gold mica flakes
Soft gloss gel
Black wire thread

Sending this to:
12 Days of Christmas challenge at Prima  Day 3- Finnabair collection
