All that glitters: Mixed media canvas.

Hello ppl,
i am here with my new mixed media project for Prima November PPP. I am not very fond of brown shades ,so i have decided to go with little of brown n more of antique gold n yellow, with lots of flowers n glass glitters from the PPP. The yellow is not as bright as shown in the picture, somehow i couldn't get it right :(.
I have used lots of my favorite prima resin embellishments and flowers along with Finnabair art ingredients and mediums, I have also worked with  bloom sprays for the first time and i just loved it.Its a picture heavy post  and i also have the step by step pictures in the end,so grab a cuppa and enjoy the pictures:)

Here is the step by step pictures n process:
To start with i applied a coat of gesso with knife, and once its dried i randomly sprayed some Bloom spray-Gold foil. Then i gave some texture with stencil and texture paste and also gold crackle paste. Then i used some washi tape here and there and prima chalk for the edges.

Once everything dried,i apples a coat of gesso again over washi tapes and other areas, and used some more spray in the center.

Then i  started planning my layout for a rough idea, without sticking them.

Once i got the idea where  i am going to place the embellishments,i  took them out and  worked on the background again.I added little bit of yellow acrylic glaze paint in the corners n more in the center.I  used some cheese cloth sprayed with gold foil spray for more texture in the center.
I have also used some prima chalk-Attic dust to make it darker in the center n corners.

Then i used gel medium and sprinkled some Gold mica flakes and gold rush glass glitters.

Finally added some black splatters to break the mono tone and to add depth. So my  base is fully ready now ,then i added all the embellishments using glue gun.

Hope you enjoyed seeing my work process,do let me know so that i can decide whether i can do this is future or not :) Happy crafting,
